I am interested in understanding how global change is impacting biodiversity, particularly at the species and community levels. Ecological processes with spatial dimension, such as animal movement, connectivity, population expansions or species range shifts, are specially appealing to me. My research is based on field data that is processed by means of modelling. I understand modelling in a very broad sense, as any tool that might identify patterns and make predictions, from a linear regression to an individual based simulation model.
